Glenmore House has a choice of four rooms registered for conducting civil weddings. This service is exclusively available to complement wedding receptions allowing your guests to celebrate the occasion without the need for additional travel.

Civil weddings have been held with us for a number of years and we will work with you to find a suitable time and date with the Superintendent Registrar and guide you through the procedures. These arrangements need to be made at the earliest possible opportunity to avoid disappointment.

On the day we will provide a Registry Room for the Registrar to interview the groom; who then adjourns to the ceremony whilst the bride is interviewed. The Registrar will then lead the bride and her bridesmaids to the entrance of the Ceremony Room.

After the Registrar has addressed the guests, a subtle signal will be given for the bride to enter the room and begin her progression down the aisle. Following the exchange of vows the newlyweds sign the register in the presence of their family and friends. Our fee for holding the ceremony is £100.00 and a separate fee is payable to the Superintendent Registrar.
